My mum went for a pre-scheduled appointment regarding her cataract issue recently this year. During the consultation, it was discovered the eye pressure was dangerously high. She was transferred to the ward for treatment while the surgery was being organised. The surgery was performed on the day after.
During her 4 days of admission in the hospital, she had been received excellent care from the hospital staff - including the doctors, nurses and food services.
As my mum's English is limited, the compassion and care of the staff had helped her overcome the language barrier and comforted her for the in-hospital treatment. Particularly with nurse Melissa who can speak a foreign language that my mum understood, trust and rapport were developed rapidly. My mum praised Melissa's approachable, spontaneous, proactive and professional manner throughout the stay. Nurse Charms is hardworking and diligent. As a visitor and carer, I am also impressed with the other helpful staff members, nurse Ilona even offered coffee and other assistance to me. Dr Michell and his assistants were also a bunch of hard-working medical professionals.
Please accept my apology for not being able to identify every individual who had provided excellent care to my mum during the hospital stay. All the staff whom we encountered are fantastic!
