After an emergency, I had my surgery cancelled from the month before. All the staff were extremely apologetic, I said, it happens and I’ll see you all in a month.

Even though our little hospital doesn’t have a resident doctor, the nurses and other staff are just the best. The day surgery unit is exceptional with their care and dedication to their patients.

Margie, who is in charge is just awesome and some others to mention are Lyn, Chris and Milly (or Tilly). They all looked after me tremendously well. 

I even had a phone call the next day to see how everything was going and just to make sure I didn’t need anything - was really happy with their care.

Thank you for your understanding attitude the month before when your procedure was cancelled. I am glad that your procedure was rescheduled and completed without any further delays. All the staff in day surgery and theatre strive to provide the best care to all our patients, including the call the next day, from the district nurses, to check how you are. Your lovely feedback and comments about your care and the staff is greatly appreciated and I will pass on your comments to all and to those mentioned too.
