(as a service user),

For many years my life has been slowing going down hill from dependent drug use and inability to understand or manage home life, anxiety, terminal illness & depression.

I was linked into lives lived well with Kylie and she took me under her wing despite how drug "fried" I was. Since then I've been able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

Been working with Kylie for 3 months and I feel the difference in my life is indescribable. I not only have been linked with so many resources to help me on days where I can't get help from loved ones but she has given me a real understanding on controlling emotions and drug use. Although my problem is terminal illness, so many hidden aspects were affecting me majorly on a daily basis that I was blind from. The truth is, I feel, without Kylie and the support she's linked me I would be dead. Now as a young adult I only see great future ahead.

I have nothing but appreciation to lives lived well especially Kylie, thank you.

Thank you for telling us about the situation you were living in when you made the decision to link with Lives Lived Well, your experience of engaging with Kylie and where you are now.

When we feel the shock of the reality of a terminal illness it can easily blind us to the things we can do to make a difference. It is great that Kylie was able to support you to understand this blindness and to recognise the things you can do to make the difference you now feel and live in your life.

At Lives Lived Well we believe with the right support people can change. It takes a lot of courage and perseverance on your part to receive that support to make the changes. I am glad that in Kylie you found that support through additional resources and changed how you see yourself and your future. I will make sure Kylie sees your comments.

I wish you all the best with that future you can now envision.
