"Adolescent Mental Health Care"

My daughter has been suffering with serious mental illness for over 18 months now. We have tried so many different support services and paths. Most of the time it has felt like we have hit brick wall after brick wall with her health only deteriorating. 

Late last year we met Dr Matthew at Bentley EMyU. It was like a breath of fresh air. In my opinion, he is so knowledgeable and caring. He took time to listen to my daughter and I, and gave her a diagnosis and a pathway for treatment that made sense. He did exactly what was promised and sent referrals for treatment programs and gave us some direction.

Recovery is not linear and with additional admissions at Bentley EMyU over the past several months Dr Matthew has again stepped in and really gone out of his way to ensure that my daughter is offered the best possible support to meet her needs at the time. He explains everything in detail and covers all possible options and outcomes. It is so comforting to know that when my daughter is at her lowest there is someone looking after her that we both trust - it manifests to hope and this is much needed at these times.

Along with the caring nursing staff at Bentley EMyU, it gives me confidence that my daughter is being given every possible chance to rest and recover. We would both like to thank Dr Matthew and the team at Bentley EMyU.
