From arrival to discharge I felt nothing but care and empathy from all staff. I was booked in by the same nurse who was part of my care for the whole time. Plus others, nurses, doctors, and ward clerks.
It felt like nothing was too much trouble for any of them even though they were very busy. During the wait for the procedure I was checked on regularly by several of the staff.
In the theatre, attention and describing what was to happen was of a very high standard. In recovery I was well attended at all times. I was discharged by the same nurse who booked me in.
As a senior citizen of 80 plus and an ex nurse I was very impressed with the standard of care of all concerned.
All in all a very stress free experience.
