"Thank you to COVID clinic staff and Pathwest"

The COVID clinic at Broome Hospital has been so busy with asymptomatic testing since the WA border closed to Victorian arrivals recently. However, I needed a symptomatic test on a weekend.

I understand that it is especially important at the moment that anyone with respiratory symptoms is tested quickly because we need to make sure COVID isn’t in our community. Despite how busy they have been all the staff at the COVID clinic were welcoming, kind and efficient, from the lovely receptionist to Jo and her colleague who took the swab.

I understand Pathwest have also been doing overtime to get people their results as quickly as possible. I received my result, a routine test, within 24 hours. Amazing!
