About: St George Hospital COVID Vaccine Hub

(as a service user),

Waste of time in my opinion … arrived to receive vaccine to be told we have a problem because I’m 50 ... 

No communication before, to then receive a call saying I’m not at my appointment while I’m in the hospital waiting for my partner to be vaccinated. 

In my experience - great waste of people's time.

Thank you for your feedback about the COVID Vaccine Hub at St George Hospital.

The St George Hospital HUB, along with all COVID vaccination HUBS adhere to the Commonwealth Government safety and eligibility guidelines when administering vaccines. I am sorry to hear that you could not receive the vaccination on the day you arrived due to your age, which is a key factor of eligibility.

Recently, the guidelines have changed slightly and you may now be eligible for the vaccine you wish to receive. Further information can be found here https://www.health.gov.au/resources/apps-and-tools/covid-19-vaccine-eligibility-checker.
