"Patient care"

About: Monash Pathology Wonthaggi Hospital

(as the patient),

The chairs out the front of pathology have been removed. I believe this makes it very difficult for patients waiting their turn for a blood test etc standing in the hallway. I understand that renovations are taking place but no seating for the sick elderly and infirm. In my opinion, not good enough.

Dear uniformwp78,

Apologies for this temporary inconvenience while we prepare and re-paint the walls in the corridor. We had thought there were enough chairs inside the waiting room itself, in the café nearby, or in the front foyer. I have asked our Porters to make sure that there are a couple of chairs in the area away from the renovated wall areas, to facilitate additional seating.

Thanks for your constructive feedback. Stay Well!

Jan.
