"Emergency care"

About: Derby Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I attended Derby Emergency with my child who had fainted and had a head injury.

They immediately triaged her and we saw the doctor after. From the minute we arrived I felt calm, they were super efficient and knowledgeable. The nurse manager support, Zoe, supported our daughter and was super organised and helpful. We were consistently updated on our daughter progress by James the doctor. I cannot speak more highly of all the staff here. Thank you.

Dear horologiumwn73

Thank you for taking the time to provide your comments and feedback.

We are glad to hear that you and your daughter’s experience at the Emergency Department was a positive one. We strive to ensure that everyone that arrives at Derby Hospital feels informed, safe and calm during their triage and treatment. This includes the parents of patients.

Our staff endeavour do their best in providing safe care to the community. It is our pleasure to pass on your kind words and gratitude to Zoe, James and the rest of the ED team.
