"Vertigo treatment"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was admitted recently. I was suffering from extreme dizziness and nausea and I was concerned it may have been a stroke. I was admitted to emergency and fortunately it wasn’t too busy.

During the time I was there I feel I was given first rate treatment. I had tests done for blood pressure done several times, a urine test, an ECG and CT scan. I was diagnosed that I was suffering from a condition called vertigo and I was treated with occupational therapy and physiotherapy by Ross.

I had about four of these treatments which involved different movements. This was to move the crystals in the inner ear. I stayed overnight until late afternoon the following day and it had improved enough for me to be discharged. I had a follow on appt with Ross and I felt it was more than satisfactory.

When it happened I felt so ghastly, and within a week I was so much better. I am more than happy with the treatment and the attitude.
