"Truly great care across two hospitals"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department Fremantle Hospital and Health Service / General Medicine Department & Ward B9S

(as a parent/guardian),

What a kind, caring team we experienced across two hospitals. My daughter had an episode at Fremantle Hospital which required a transfer to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

At Fremantle Hospital the nurses (Cheryl, Monica, Julieta, Jie, Audrey) and the doctors I can’t recall their names and the PCA who cared for her on B9S, thank you. She truly appreciated your care and compassion. She was scared and overwhelmed but your kindness alleviated her concerns. The after hours manager Sarah who called me was kind, caring and offered reassurance to me that she was OK and would be transferred to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Thank you to Lichelle the nurse manager, Sylvia the RMO, Faye the nurse and Shayne the consultant at Fiona Stanley Hospital. I felt our short journey through the emergency department was a great patient/family experience. In my opinion, you all do an amazing job. Thank you!

Dear empathyjm78,

Thank you ever so much for your kind words. We really do appreciate you taking time out of your day to share your gratitude. I have ensured that all of the staff named and who work on the wards you have mentioned have read your kind compliment.

I hope that your daughter is recovering well.

Best wishes,
