My husband and I attended a weekend Hypnobirthing class held at Bunbury hospital by Kasey. We were dubious about Hypnobirthing and thought it would be too 'hippy' for our tastes. We could not be more wrong!
Hypnobirthing is all about educating and empowering the birth mother and her support partner/s to ensure that they have a positive birthing experience, no matter how it turns out. The class taught us to be able to relax during the labour, as well as provide unbiased information on drugs and intervention methods. We came away from the class armed with so many tools and feeling ready and excited for our birth!
Also, a massive thank you to Kasey. Her energy and enthusiasm in the classroom kept us spellbound the entire two days. In my opinion, she has an incredible wealth of knowledge and genuinely cares about what she is teaching. She made the classes feel personal, informal and a safe place to ask all those questions expectant parents are nervous to ask. Thank you for giving us such an incredible experience Kasey :o)
