On waking up recently, I felt a massive, worst pain ever in my chest. Took my hypertension meds plus panadol osteos, no relief so my wife drove me into Nannup Hospital...only about 7 minutes away.
The nursing staff assessed me, set up a TV consultancy with a doctor (Peter) in Perth Hospital, who after asking appropriate questions, prescribed GTN...no effect, mylanta, antinauseant and morphine. Advised me to be transferred by ambulance to Bunbury General Hospital A and E, where they and SJGH CCU, eventually diagnosed and treated a narrowed coronary artery....stented.
The staff at Nannup were so supportive, attentive and caring. I felt I was in safe hands with their attention. I had a successful outcome. Many thanks.
