About: Lives Lived Well – Watershed Residential Service (Wollongong)

(as a service user),

I completed the Watershed Drug and Alcohol Detox and Residential Program and progressed into the transition house where I can continue with my recovery.

During my stay at the Watershed, I had my ups and downs on the emotional roller coaster and if it wasn't for the ongoing support of the staff and the tools I gained from the program I wouldn't have made it to the transition house as smoothly as I did.

I appreciate all the time, patience and understanding I was given throughout my whole stay and recommended the program to anyone wanting recovery for themselves.

Wow - what a positive story! Thank you for taking the time to let us know how beneficial you found Watershed and your transition into our housing.

It is so encouraging that you have acknowledged the ups and downs of your journey, and not only persisted, but were able to learn the tools required to make a positive change to your thinking and behaviour. Congratulations!

It is also great to hear that the staff were patient, understanding and gave you enough of their time - I will pass on your comments to them.
