"Pathology"

About: Box Hill Hospital / Pathology

(as the patient),

I went down to Pathology to get a urine test done and they refused to do it because I can't do it by myself so they told me to go down to the Urology Clinic to get the Urology Nurse to do it. I find it highly disgusting that they won't do it because I was at Pathology 6 months earlier and they did it then, so what's the difference between then and now?

Dear hydraqx55

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience when attending the Eastern Health Pathology service for a test. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations and things were different from when you attended 6 months prior.

In order for us to follow up your particular circumstances and to get to the root cause of why things had changed, I would like to invite you to contact one of our Patient Relations Advisors in the Eastern Health Centre for Patient Experience either by calling 1800 EASTERN or by emailing feedback@easternhealth.org.au.

If you choose to call please be aware that it is possible that the Patient Relations Advisors may be on another call at the time you ring and if so you will be invited to leave a message so they can return your call.

Thank you again and I hope we hear from you soon.

Kind regards,

David
