"Terrible service experience"

About: PathWest Newman Collection Centre

(as a service user),

There is an individual that works in there who in my opinion, doesn’t seem to give a damn about you. The only place in town to get a blood test, you go in and a sign says ring the bell once only. Then you wait, and wait, and wait. No one comes out!

I once waited an hour and this person just casually strolls out without a single apology, just an arrogance I felt, like they can do what they want as this is the only option in town. We have to get drug tests done for work as well and quite often you’re just sitting there, no acknowledgment that they know you’re there. No way of knowing if they even heard. I believe this is not good enough.

Thank you for providing feedback on the service you received at PathWest Newman collection centre. I am sorry to hear about your experience and apologise that you felt you were dealt with in a discourteous manner and that you experienced a long wait time.

We expect our staff to always provide a courteous, professional and efficient customer service and we will reiterate this expectation to our collection staff at PathWest Newman. Sometimes our staff members may be busy with other clients, performing lengthy procedures, and are unable to attend reception. In these cases it may feel that you are being neglected.
