About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / 2 West & Hand Clinic

(as the patient),

I attended Sydney Hospital recently after an emergency referral from another hospital. I underwent a procedure in the morning for cat bites and stayed 2 nights on 2 West for intravenous antibiotics and a further check on the morning following.

My thanks to Snr MO Dr Tim, Registrar Dr David and Sen MO Anaesthetist Dr Edward.

I am also grateful for the care of all the nursing staff on 2 West and Sydney Hospital's Social Worker who facilitated a Compack Package for me on my return home.

Despite initial fears of a protracted recovery I think I will be back in action soon and I intend to follow Hand Therapist Amy's instructions to the letter.

Thank you Sydney Hospital and everyone who looked after me.
