I had the PBP (Positive Birth Program) recently and it was great.
I have to say that I knew Hypnobirthing because a friend of mine that lives in NZ talked to me about it, but my partner hadn't; and it was so good that he could listen to Kasey (Bunbury Hospital Antenatal Education Coordinator) because now we are on the same page.
Previous to the program, I tried to talk to him and explain about everything I wanted to be a part of the birth and he was not really into it, thinking that it was quite risky (as he has a young child, and the births at that stage were different), but after the program he is all in!
We learned a lot in this 2 days and he actually told me "6 years ago you had the antenatal course and you went out more scared than before, now with this program, even if birth is not as we planned, we know we can work on having a positive birth whatever the way is gonna be, with no fears and a positive mind".
I am so so happy, so grateful we could do this, and I totally recommend everyone to attend! Believe me, there's a before & after this program.
