This was my second pregnancy and birth at KEMH and both experiences were very positive.
The second time, I was lucky to get into the midwifery program and my midwife throughout was Lolita. Even though the birth of my first was very straightforward, in hindsight there would have been some things that I would have done differently so I was able to voice this for my second. I felt Lolita took everything on board and listened to my requests and made sure to put them into place during my labour. It was another straightforward birth, very quick and as far as births go, a very positive one thanks to Lolita listening to me.
I would have no hesitations recommending a birth at KEMH and I’d like to thank all the staff involved during my pregnancy, labour and the after care.
