(as the patient),

I was in the emergency room and I believe I had one of the most caring nurses by the name of Chris. I found he was really empathetic, thorough and caring when I was in there and made me feel comfortable during my stay.

Thank you for sharing your story about your experience as a patient attending the Emergency Department at Kalgoorlie Hospital.

Our amazing staff member Chris will be so happy to hear that your journey through our service was a positive experience due to his empathetic and thorough care. It is really wonderful when staff receive such recognition for their efforts in maintaining safe, patient-centred care. Chris is just starting his career as an ED nurse and all feedback to date demonstrates he is certainly in the right discipline of nursing and he will go far.

It makes me proud to say thank you, on behalf of myself and the staff at Kalgoorlie Hospital for taking the time to share your story. We wish you the best and quick road to recovery.
