"Awesome team"

I am writing to advise you about how incredible I believe the staff are at Newman hospital.

I feel that the hospital is an incredibly run-down, decrepit building, but it houses absolute rockstars.

I have lived and worked in Newman for around 8 years. Over the years we have unfortunately been in situations where either myself, my partner, my toddler and baby have needed to go to the hospital. However, for the last few years we have found all hospital staff to be incredibly kind, patient (hello first time parents😅🙋‍♀️) and down-to-earth.

I would like to particularly make it known how much we have adored the nurses involved in our care over the last couple of years since we became parents. Particularly Vicky (she has left), all the Annas, Sophie (the current midwife, I believe is an absolute joy to be around, even in tricky situations. It puts our mind at ease just knowing she’s around), Jemma (not sure of the spelling), Rose, Bree, Mikaila, Esther, and Sarah. I feel we are so lucky to have multiple clinical nurses at our hospital, but I believe they are good and kind people too, so that makes it even better. And of course, Rodney. We feel he is so kind and professional too.

I would also like to mention how wonderful, intelligent and caring we believe Dr Qalo is. I don’t know where you found him, but he is an absolute legend in our (I think I speak for most of Newman here😂) eyes. In my opinion, he is without a doubt the standout asset to this community. We also have huge respect and adoration for Dr Eugene and Dr Earnest and Dr Joseph.

I feel their jobs can be incredibly stressful and exhausting, and yet they still manage to be as wonderful as they are. In my eyes, I can only imagine how they’d be if they were fully recovered from their shifts and if there were never any short staff situations that I believe occur.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and I feel you should know how awesome I think the team is here.
