About: Karratha Health Campus / Outpatients & Day Treatment

(as the patient),

At the time of writing this, I believe it's the second week of no air-conditioning in the Karratha Oncology unit. I felt it was very hot and it seems to me the patients and staff are really feeling the heat.

Dear sculptorxf44,

Thank you for relaying your experience at Karratha Health Campus about the air-conditioning, the Engineering team have been working with contractors on a resolution. Whilst the air-conditioning still works there has been a restriction to the air flow which has raised the ambient temperature and I apologise for the discomfort. We have purchased additional fans for the area to assist in reducing the ambient temperature whilst the solution is being worked on.
