My father in law was cared for by the Medical Oncology team at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital in Perth for many months and we have so many positive things to say about them. He went into transitional care but when the end came he was transferred back to SCGH for around 48 hours before he passed away. During this time my partner, who lives in a regional town was able to FaceTime his sister who was in the hospital with her Dad. The staff member (a female) who spoke to us was amazing, not sugar coating anything, but being honest, open and describing things so simply and easily whilst at such a difficult time. This has helped my partner with his loss very much.
Prior to this when he was in Perth and visiting the hospital and having team meetings with social worker, oncologists etc he had nothing but praise for them all. Thank you very much.
"Grateful for the care my Father in-law received"
