I feel like I have been ignored and brushed off every time I see the gynaecology team there. I have stage IV endometriosis diagnosed in 1999, I think by now the drs should respect my knowledge of my own body, in my opinion.

It seems to me any treatment/scans I have received have been at my own urging because I happen to be a qualified nurse. How they treat patients who seemingly don’t have that knowledge scares me. Around 9 months later I’m still untreated and taking strong painkillers and I feel they just don’t seem to care.

KEMH strives to provide quality patient-centred care and I do apologise we have not met your full expectations on this occasion. We would like the opportunity to fully investigate your concerns, however as Care Opinion is an anonymous platform, you will need to contact the Consumer Liaison Service (CLS) at KEMH on 6458 1444 to enable us to investigate your individual experience.
