"Hip replacement and wonderful nursing staff"

About: Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital / Orthopaedic Surgery

(as the patient),

I recently broke my hip in a cycling accident and ended up in Ward G53. I want to thank the nursing staff who attended my every wish, especially Brooke and Taylah who were mainly on night shift and Claire and Rebecca during the day. To me, these girls are angels, nothing was too hard for them to do and their empathy and cheerfulness was amazing.

With the caliber of these girls, I believe the future of nursing is in good hands.

Dear Hippy hippy break,

Thank you for your acknowledgement of Brooke, Taylah, Clare and Rebecca, who provided your nursing care on ward G53 after your hip replacement.

It is rewarding for staff to hear how appreciative patients are of their empathy, cheerfulness and attention to their needs.

I wish you a speedy recovery and hope that you will soon be back on your bicycle.

Warm regards

Theresa
