"Overdose"

About: Box Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Went to Box Hill Hospital after drug induced overdose. I told the nurse I had all these symptoms including seizures, numbness left side of my body, pins and needles, fainting. I recall they said I'll be the last one to go in. The whole time I felt they were eyeing me off and had this look like it seemed they wanted me to die, offered me water, I said yes. Then I believe they looked at me, walked away and just kept staring at me without getting water. I recall the nurse went around, did everyone’s heart and blood pressure but did mine very last and actually left, sat down, then came back to do mine.

I was doing no good, like I was surprised I survived like I believe if I watched the video tape cam, I’d see myself stumbling and nearly passing out. I told the nurses that and I believe they said I just have to wait, even though they said my blood pressure and temperature was sky rocketed. Didn't receive a bed the whole time, was in the waiting room slipping in and out of consciousness while trying to sleep I recall for more than 10 hours. I felt it was only the nurses in the morning who were nice and made sure I was all good.
