"Screening process at the hospital entrance"

About: Margaret River Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We came to ED with my kid who had hurt themselves. My family and I felt very safe as we were screened at the front administration area. The screening process at the entry was excellent and efficient. What a great idea. As a mother, I thought being screened upon arrival created a streamlined system as well as making sure cross infection was minimised. I felt listened to,  cared for and also protected as we were admitted in to the hospital. I'm so grateful for this screening process as I was worried about the possibility of others with COVID being in the same area as us (we came in for a different reason) Great idea. Thank you!

Dear Kirkacola,

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion regarding screening at Margaret River hospital.

Our staff strive to ensure that we keep our community safe through a concierge process who are trained in screening. I am very happy that you felt safe, cared for and protected for this is at the very heart of what we do every day.

I hope that your child is recovering well and we all wish you the very best for the future.

I will take great pleasure in passing on your comments to the team.

Kind regards,

Marie Tweedie
