"Minor procedure"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Outpatient Department (Eyes & General)

This was my first appointment at SEH. From the door ushers through to the reception, nurses, the specialist and team, everyone was friendly and very professional. We waited in the full waiting room for my initial eye testing with the wonderful nurse. They then let me know that we could head out for a coffee as the Dr would see me in over an hour. We did that.

When returning to the waiting room, there is a TV to watch (please turn on the captions as we can't hear it). The waiting time all up, from the time of my appointment to the time the specialist called me in, was around 3hrs. But my treatment and on the spot minor procedure was thorough and well done.

Because we were parked for a few hours it was $66 for parking. Ideally the waiting time wouldn't go beyond the 2hr mark. I understand that SEH has a large volume of people needing their service.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words regarding the staff at your clinic appointment. I am sorry the length of time needed for your appointment was longer than expected, resulting in the parking fee. As you acknowledged the clinic sees a large volume of patients and the staff strive to ensure each patient receives safe, compassionate and quality care.
