About: Lives Lived Well – Wyla Residential Services (Orange)

(as the patient),

I have come to the end of my time at Wyla equipped with the right tools and support to continue my recovery journey at home. 

At the beginning of the program, I thought I was in the wrong place and I was telling myself that I don't need this. After expressing my feelings to my caseworker (Jody), she listened and gave me the support and opportunity to discover for myself why I needed to be there. The GRIT sessions, relapse prevention and DBT sessions all worked hand in hand with each other. I felt like each session was designed specifically for me. Even the sessions I thought would be a waste of time, gave me an idea, or a tool to use in the future. 

I am leaving here knowing that I have the LLW team in my corner and I will be forever grateful to LLW for what they have done for me.

Dear scoreboardth74,

It takes courage to enter a rehabilitation service and you have done that - and learnt life skills to manage your future in a better way. You should be proud of yourself.

All programs at LLW are evidence-based, and are delivered by trained workers who really want to help. It is gratifying to know that you have witnessed that and have shared your experience through Care Opinion for others to see.
