(as a carer),

Charlie from the choice team at Freo Hospital has been like a lotto win for me. I have been struggling to get help caring for my terminally ill mum and Charlie came out to the house and gave mum so much confidence that she can still have some independence which in turn gives me a huge break. For the first time since December, Mum made herself a cuppa, toast, got her own drinks and folded her own washing. 

Honestly can’t thank you enough, Charlie.

Thank you for providing such positive feedback regarding your experience with Charlie and the CHOICE team. I agree, she is a terrific member of our staff and I will ensure your feedback is passed on.

CHOICE stands for Consider Home Over Inpatient Care Every time, because we know that home is where people do best, and more importantly, home is where the heart is. This program is all about helping our elderly patients transition home after a hospital stay, as quickly and safely as possible.

I am glad to hear CHOICE was so helpful for your Mum. I hope she is enjoying her cuppa and toast at home, and you are enjoying a bit of a break.
