"Birth"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I delivered my baby boy at SJOG in Bunbury after completing the Hypnobirthing course through WACHS Bunbury regional hospital with the wonderful Kasey. We were able to apply so many of the techniques we learnt in the online course during the labour and had a beautiful and intervention free birth.

Arriving at SJOG at 2am already 4cm dilated, I then laboured in the shower until my OBGYN came to check me around 4am to tell me that I had dilated to 9cm. Prior to finding out I was 9cm, I had asked for an epidural however with encouragement from the lovely midwife and OBGYN, I decided to continue without it but did have some air and gas.
