"Pain management"

About: Margaret River Hospital

(as the patient),

Pain management- after spending many days in hospital with a range of injuries, I was discharged from hospital. It seemed the medical staff had spent the last two days finessing my medication to control the pain.

I was then discharged by the consulting clinician with only half the pain medication I have been prescribed. I recall two of the medications were completely missing and one had been reduced. My concern is there was no consultation with me prior.. It resulted in me sustaining significant pain over the following days. I would’ve appreciated understanding why the medication was being so significantly reduced prior to it happening so I could have some sort of strategy for pain management
