About: Swan Hill District Hospital

(as the patient),

Admitted to ED late 2021 (arrived by ambulance) then to ward same day. I have found this service very good my only complaint is no daily paper which I believe is supposed to be for private patient!

Dear atlasnb97,

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. I have followed up with the question about the daily paper, and yes, you are correct. Private patients admitted to the hospital did always receive a daily paper pre the COVID pandemic, however, this was restricted during COVID. Thank you for identifying that it has not been recommenced. I am working with the administration team about ensuring that this service recommences from now on.
