About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was brought in to the emergency department last year with severe pain from a large ovarian cyst, everyone in the emergency department who I dealt with was extremely kind, understanding and attentive to my needs as I suffer from anxiety. 

They admitted me and the surgery was done the following morning, everything was explained to me and I cannot express how much everyone from the nurses to the doctors the pre surgery prep team to the kitchen delivery staff were so lovely, kind, respectful and made me feel safe and comfortable. 

I was taken great care of, and discharged when I felt well enough.

Thank you to everyone on ward six including the lovely man that wheeled me right to my car and the whole hospital.
