My husband was transferred to Kununurra Hospital emergency department by Ambulance over 100km from our camp site, he was in extreme pain. All the staff in ED were so amazing and so very helpful my husband received the best care by all staff involved. Not only did they help my husband, they also helped me stay with him other wise I would of been driving over 100km back to our campsite (sadly I do not remember any of the staff names).
My husband was later transferred to the ward and the night nurse Krystal and day shift nurse Caitlin were extremely nice and very helpful they took amazing care of both my husband and myself. Again, they gave me somewhere to sleep.
This is by far the best treatment and care I have seen in any hospital, and I’m a registered nurse so I’ve been around a lot of hospitals.
