My partner stayed overnight with our child in the pediatric unit at Flinders Medical Centre. Although my child was provided with food, I was disappointed to find out that my partner wasn't offered food during their stay as well. As a result, I brought meals for my partner into the hospital, which I was more than happy to do. My concern is for the parents of other children, who may not have a partner or a support network available to them - what are they meant to do for food in this circumstance?
