"Excellent care"

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Recently my elderly mother had to come to the Bunbury Emergency Department for assessment after collapsing at her GP surgery and the staff were polite and professional in all their dealings with her and my family. She was very anxious, as her last presentation was for NSTEMI. This was not the issue this presentation but the Doctors, Nurses and Physiotherapists treating her were very thorough and kept her and us informed about their working hypothesis. She spent the night in SSU and was seen early and provided with D/C information she could understand.

As a Registered Nurse I observed all of this without disclosing my background and was very impressed with the care my mother received.

Dear attendanten54,

I was so pleased to read that the care your mother received in our Emergency Department was thorough, informative and reassuring. It will be my pleasure to pass on your kind words to the team that was on duty. I do hope your mother is feeling much better.

Kind regards,
