About: MHERL - Mental Health Emergency Response Line

I’ve had to use this service three times this year and have found the staff very useful, compassionate and knowledgeable. My call was answered on the first ring on each occasion.

There is often not an easy fix available for mental health crises, particularly at a time when the health system is so overwhelmed. I am grateful there are services such as MHERL who can offer basic guidance or just reassurance. Thank you.

I regret circumstances have required you to access the service several times this year however, I am so pleased to know the staff and service met your needs on those occasions, responding promptly, compassionately and knowledgeably.

I know the staff at the MHERL will be delighted to hear of your experiences and praise for their care.
