Stayed in the Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital recently, a particular shift nurse for Colyer ward caring for me did not seem to fit, in my opinion. I felt they were not professional and dropped bits from doing antibiotics etc on the floor and didn't pick them up. They flicked the antibiotics tube excessively for what seemed to be a long time before hooking it up. They even managed to flick the solution in my face. My urine outtake was being monitored - so I advised them every time I had urinated in the pan.
Before their shift finished there were 4 pans waiting to be measured. When they left I had to urinate again and the pans had been emptied but left in the same position. My understanding is that the whole pan is usually taken away for measuring. Also after I went for a walk they asked if I had taken my Panadol and I said no I hadn't had Panadol since earlier in the day. They said they had left it there - but it was clearly not there. They gave me some Panadol then. I felt something did not seem right with this nurse.
