I suffer from Crohn’s disease, which I have had since I was 15.
I’ve been in and out of hospital for many years.
All that time I’ve had lots experiences with with doctors and nurses.
In all those years, I have never had such caring and all round good times coming into a hospital, as I did in Karratha hospital with Bridie and Tracy.
I actually looked forward to seeing them, and having a laugh with them.
I work fifo and it’s very hard to get appointments lined up, and very stressful at times. But I could ring the girls up and let them know what’s going on, they would go above and beyond sorting out anything I needed, changing times or dates, or absolutely anything, without a hassle.
I would ring them instead of another hospital.
Cause I knew they would get something sorted straight away.
I feel you just don’t find nurses like this everyday.
I’ve moved hospitals and it’s just not the same anymore.
