A elderly family friend lives at 123 cemetery rd raceview, in their unit the slab has a serious crack in the slab. This major fault has not been repaired for over a year. The owner of the unit contacted the real estate who sold them the unit and informed them they no longer handle the refurbishing and selling of 32 odd units at this retirement village.
During heavy rain a couple of months ago the roof was leaking, a plumber was called and I believe they also informed the maintenance manager who looks after the maintenance at 123 cemetery road Raceview, that the slab had failed and was causing other faults within the unit.
Living in the unit the owner has trouble opening and closing doors and windows. The roof leaks intermittently and while in bed they can hear the unit creaking during the night. Could someone in authority please help this person.
They are easy to find as I believe the maintenance manager knows of the problem and if asked I would hope they could inform or show others the problem. The company who manage the units are in Toowoomba so I found distance is a problem when communicating concerns.
