"Poor Wi-Fi connection"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / State Rehabilitation Service Wards A&B, Wards 1A& 2A

(as the patient),

The staff at FSH are second to none based on my experience. I'm in the spinal rehabilitation ward at the time of writing this, and expect to be for some time. Video calls thru my own Telstra Wi-Fi hotspot are a frustrating exercise as they keep freezing or dropping out. Talking via video to family and friends is what keeps me positive in this otherwise ****** situation but due to what I’ve been told is a failure by another network to live up to contract obligations, I find my mental health to be below par, to put it nicely.

Dear leatherpk44,

Thank you for acknowledging the great care you are receiving in the spinal rehabilitation ward. We will make sure this is passed on to the clinicians involved.

I am sorry to hear that your experience with your Telstra Wi-Fi service is poor. Being a large public building, there is infrastructure to support reception to mobile devices within the wards, but unfortunately we cannot influence the performance of various mobile providers or personal devices.

Kind regards,

Kellie Blyth
