"Wonderful staff at Mt Beauty Hospital"

Last month I was admitted to Mt Beauty District Hospital after a skiing accident. I spent two nights in your care while waiting for surgery at Albury Hospital. What was a daunting and sometimes painful experience was made much more bearable by your absolutely wonderful staff. The professionalism and genuine care was extremely uplifting and comforting, which I particularly valued knowing hospitals are under so much pressure these days.

I would like to thank everyone I met; admin entry staff (Helen), caterers, cleaners and medical staff. I was fascinated to meet Nurse Sage, I had no idea about comfort dogs and think she is a brilliant idea.

I have special thanks for nurses Bec and Paul. Their patience, care and humour made a big difference to my physical and mental wellbeing. I would also like to thank the paramedics that transported me between hospitals.

I am recovering well, though I think I may not try the ski slopes again!
