"Stay at Healsville Hospital"

About: Healesville and Yarra Valley Health

(as the patient),

I had 17 day stay at the Healesville Hospital to recover from a dose of pnenomia. Right from the time I was admitted the staff were great. Head nurse welcomed me in. Nothing was too much for the nurses and other staff to help me recover. The food was the best food I have had in any hospital, hot meals were always hot. The nurses were willing to listen to any problems, the doctors came regularly to discuss any procedures . I went in there unable to get out of bed without the help mechanical aids ,I walked out of there 17 days later carrying a walking  stick just in case of rough paths. I cant thank the staff for assistance getting back to normal.

If I need to go back into hospital I will be asking to go back there for any rehab.

Dear cricketqk34

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at Eastern Health Healesville regarding your 17 day stay.

The team do an amazing job and your comments reflect this both from how they use their clinical skills and knowledge as well as how they have made you feel.

So pleasing to hear you're able to get around only needing your walking stick 'just in case'.

Continue to take care of yourself and thank you again.

Kind regards

David
