"Great help at Ipswich hospital"

I woke up in extreme pain, with what turned out to be kidney stones. At the time I had no idea what was wrong, other than blinding pain. My thanks firstly to the ambulance crew who kept both myself and my wife calm while making initial assessment and treatment of the pain, and transporting me to Ipswich hospital. The team staffing Ipswich hospital were likewise very helpful in diagnosing and treating me, and keeping my wife and I informed of the process of diagnosis and treatment. Nurse Stephanie and Doctor B were terrific through the morning, including introducing the on-coming shift who continued my care. Many thanks to all those involved.

We agree that our friends at the Queensland Ambulance Service provide reassuring care to patients and their families during very stressful times and we have passed on your message to them. They also hope you and your wife are well.

Like you, we think our Emergency Department staff are terrific and we are proud of the way they assisted you and your wife.
