"Thyroid"

I was referred to the Alfred by my doctor. My doctor wrote to the Alfred and within 2 weeks I received a letter telling me I would be receiving an appointment date within 2 weeks. Within two weeks I received my first appointment at the Clinic. I attended the clinic and was assessed by wonderful doctors and the Professor. My final appointment was with the Professor who advised that I could be given a radioactive tablet that was a treatment for the particular problem I was experiencing. I accepted and in due course the table was ordered from ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) and I was given the treatment which was successful in killing off the problem in my Thyroid.

The treatment at the Alfred was a very positive experience and I thank the doctors, Professor and staff who were respectful and generous with their time. I am well and healthy thanks to the team at the Alfred.
