About: Lives Lived Well - Logan House

(as a service user),

I came to Logan House after I hit a pretty low period of my life. I was a daily drinker and had isolated for years with my addiction. By coming through the program I have been able to reconnect with myself and become aware of reasons that made me feel like I was alone and kept me in my addiction. I have grown in confidence and am able to connect with people for support and friendship. I do not feel the need to be alone anymore and have gained a new perspective on how I want to live the rest of my life. I am very thankful for the opportunity to grow from this program.

Putting up your story on Care Opinion is certainly another step out of the isolation of drinking and addiction you have spoken about in your post. Your story is full of courage, commitment and determination. It is a big effort to complete the program, congratulations. I am glad you are now experiencing the benefits of your efforts, and the support you received at Logan House, through growing in confidence to connect with others and finding a new purpose in your life.
