"Should be run more effectively."

I had to be transported to the RBH by ambulance as I experienced unusual and concerning symptoms. On arrival we spent over one and half hours of ramping. After I was handed over to nursing staff I was put on a chair (I have chronic osteoarthritis and have a lot of pain). I stayed on the chair for at least another one and a half hours. I was in pain and really worried about my health. I had not seen any nurse or doctor. I caught the eye of the nurse in charge and asked her what was going on. I was told she didn't even know what I was there for and that they were busy. I was very very upset. Still nobody asked after me, so I left without being assessed by anybody. I understand that they were busy, but not to even knowing why I was there and if I needed urgent medical help, in my opinion is downright unacceptable, incompetent and inhuman.   Surely the main hospital in Brisbane should be run more effectively.
