(as a carer),

My parent was recently admitted to Albany Hospital. They have dementia and suffered a heart attack.

They were treated with dignity and respect.

The staff and doctors were very professional and kept us as a family informed and treated us with full respect.

The social service team kept myself and my wife sane throughout my parent's stay and transition to nursing home.

Transitioning a parent, particularly one with dementia, to a nursing home is often a sad and difficult time for all so we were pleased to have been able to offer you the support you needed, via our social work team, during this time.
