"Clinic Appointment"

About: Queensland Children's Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

Very disappointed. I believe I was treated like a low class citizen. I merely asked if an appointment was able to be changed to something earlier after it was put back due to a doctor being away. I got a call from the clinic by someone who I felt was hostile and spoke incredibly down to me. The appointment was able to be moved forward, but the manner in which my request was attended to I believe was appalling. I understand how busy the hospital and all it’s staff is, but there is zero need for hostility and unpleasantness especially when I demonstrated nothing but patience, gratitude and spoke with respect.

I am entitled to the same respect.
